February

This month was a blast.  Emma brings herself to a sitting position from any other position.  She laughs, kisses (with her mouth wide open--and then cheers for herself), tries to pull herself up to stand, and crawls backwards.  When she is wanting something and mom is not moving quickly enough Emma says, "Mom!" with this pathetic look of desperation.  She also says "Da Da."  When Mona, our dog, is near Emma and is panting, Emma pants right back at her.  Emma and mommy traveled to DT and Opa's place in Naples for a mini vacation.  Emma loved the warm weather and all of the birds.  We can hardly wait until the weather warms up here in South Bend.  Aunt Meg and Uncle Tom also had their baby showers.  Enjoy!
